Overview :
The AT&T Marketing and Growth organization is responsible for delivering best-in-class advertising and go-to-market strategies to drive growth among business and public sector customers. With ambitious targets in a competitive environment, we need a highly-experienced marketer to support advertising and marketing programs to First Responder and Public Sector audiences.
Summary :
This role will have an opportunity to develop and implement strategies and programs to grow AT&T FirstNet and Public Sector markets, inclusive of government, education, and public safety. They will partner with leaders across business functions to review priorities and apply critical thinking in determining the marketing strategies to drive business results. This role is the hub for all FirstNet external marketing activities. They will lead a team of marketers and work cross functionally to lead strategy and execution for integrated campaign planning across media, social, direct marketing, PR and other marketing channels. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of marketing, advertising, and communication programs to grow the FirstNet brand and drive preference and choice of company products and services. This role will report to the Vice President of Marketing for AT&T Business.
This role will develop campaign plans and success metrics, manage development of marketing briefs, define target audiences and deliver executional guidance across the team. Candidate will be accountable for optimizing tactics to deliver business results. Strong working relationships across organizations and agency partners are required for success.
Important skillsets include:
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in areas of increasing responsibility, including 5 or more years of marketing communications, advertising or related experience
Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns including paid, owned marketing initiatives
Experience creating comprehensive communication plans that outline key messages, target audiences, and communication channels for the public safety community.
Data driven decision making and highly curious leadership to understand how to drive traffic across the funnel and into conversions
Extensive experience marketing to First Responder and Public Sector markets, inclusive of government, education, and public safety.
Executive level communication and presentation skills
Leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
Strong organizational and project management skills, able to plan, meet deadlines, prioritize projects and manage team of marketing professionals.
Strategic planning and clear thinking with ability to drive change - develop and execute new ideas
Ability to formulate and implement strategic marketing plans, establish KPIs, monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and improve campaigns to inform future marketing decisions.
