JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Penn State Behrend invites applicants for a non-tenure-line faculty position starting in fall 2025.The successful candidate should be committed to excellence in undergraduate education, with activity in research. A successful candidate will be able to teach courses in both the Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum, which emphasize theories and advanced concepts, as well as in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology curriculum, which emphasizes hands-on application and implementation. Teaching interests of the candidate should align in one or more of the following areas: electronics, electric circuits, digital logic, embedded systems, microcontrollers, electronic measurement and instrumentation, battery testing, and electrical and/or computer laboratories. A Masters or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field is required by the appointment start date. This is a two-year appointment with an excellent possibility of reappointment. Onsite teaching is an essential function of this job.
