WARE Executive Assistant to the Police Chief The Town of Ware is seeking
applicants for the position of Executive Assistant to the Police Chief.
This position reports directly to the Police Chief or his/her designee.
Duties focus on basic bookkeeping, secretarial, and clerical support to
department staff; provide administrative support in the keeping and
maintaining of official municipal records and files; all other related
work as required. Requires High school diploma or equivalent plus at
least two (2) years\' experience in an office setting; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with
Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Experience in business
administration, business management, or public administration; working
in a municipal setting, dealing with the public, and working with IMC
software strongly preferred. Requires the ability to work with highly
confidential information, excellent customer service skills, and
superior organizational skills. Equal opportunity employer. Position
