building a career. About this Role - Civil Technician We are looking for
a talented Civil Technician that has a passion for quality construction.
This position is responsible for providing support to operations on
civil construction projects. What You\'ll Do -Assist in the site
development and access for electric utility projects throughout the
country -Create and update models using Trimble Business Center -Perform
Takeoff\'s using Trible Business Center -Work with customer and field
management on schedule development and assist in maintaining during the
course of a project -Able to localize a site, verify grades, collect
topography and as built information -Collect data from the field to
report daily production quantities -Assist field personnel with
troubleshooting GPS equipment -Interact with customer on project with
positive long-term relationship in mind -Overall be a support mechanism
for the Project Supervision and staff -Be willing to take on multiple
projects and dedicate the time and efforts to ensure a safe and
profitable project with a very satisfied customer -Maintain
informational databases, records, general data archives, or files using
technical software -Ensure compliance with company, federal, and state
codes What You\'ll Bring -Extensive computer skills to include Acrobat,
Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint -Ability to work
independently and meet deadlines -Ability to anticipate and meet
internal customer needs -Proven communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills -Ability to maintain confidentiality -Able to
travel to various project locations -Proficient with reading civil
drawings and understanding Geotech reports -A.S. in Civil... For full
