Salary Range: $65,000 to $95,000

THE FLEET MANAGEMENT TEAM
At CEI, we are driven by Excellence and Innovation. Our Fleet Management Team ensures optimal fleet performance and maintenance, supporting productivity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This team is essential to keeping our fleet-regardless of size-running smoothly and safely.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Fleet Driver Compliance Administrator to provide administrative and clerical support for CEI's Fleet Safety Program. This role plays a key part in ensuring driver compliance with FMCSA, internal safety standards and policies.
Administrative Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fleet Safety Manager, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation related to driver compliance.
Driver & Regulatory Compliance Management
Assist in monitoring and maintaining compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and CEI policies. Responsibilities include maintaining driver qualification files, training records, hours of service records, telematics data, and other regulatory documentation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret compliance data. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to highlight performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Communication
Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and employees to address compliance issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
Documentation & Training Coordination
Maintain organized compliance documentation. Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions to ensure all personnel are aligned with current safety and regulatory standards.
Knowledge & Job Complexity
Utilizes company resources while expanding subject knowledge to effectively handle day-to-day challenges.
Manages tasks by evaluating variables, considering both the scope of work and potential impacts on production.
Builds and maintains productive working relationships across internal teams and external partners in a professional manner while embracing CEI culture.
Supervision
Receives guidance for new or complex assignments.
Works independently and escalate issues as needed.
Knowledge: Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Job Complexity: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
Supervision: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
ABOUT YOU
Highly organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; experience with JDE and Fleet Telematics systems is a plus
Able to deliver accurate, high-quality work efficiently
Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills-both written and verbal
Capable of handling confidential and proprietary information with professionalism and discretion
Comfortable performing routine clerical tasks and basic mathematical calculations
Skilled at following both oral and written instructions, and working effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience in the electrical construction industry is highly desirable
Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance and consistent performance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general office practices. Experience in construction with a focus on driver safety or fleet operations is preferred.
