What are the responsibilities of a Restaurant Server?
Greet and escort guests to their tables, present menus, and answer dining-related questions
Schedule dining reservations and coordinate parties or special services
Take and serve food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Relay guest orders to the kitchen and coordinate amenity delivery with culinary teams
Monitor assigned tables and service stations, ensuring all guests are served promptly and courteously
Respond professionally to guest concerns or complaints
Collect and process payments; total receipts and verify sales at end of shift
Ensure proper reporting of tips for tax purposes
Clear tables and reset for incoming guests
Maintain cleanliness and stock of service stations, including silverware, linens, and condiments
Inspect dining areas and equipment for cleanliness and functionality
Support team members in providing efficient and high-quality guest service
Follow safety and sanitation procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
Complete any and all other work as required to fulfill the primary purpose of the position
How can you be successful?
Bring your experience - At least six (6) months of prior restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
System knowledge - Experience with Micros POS system is a plus
Certifications - Must be Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certified or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
Physical ability - Able to lift 50 lbs., bend and squat repeatedly, and walk or stand for the full shift
Availability - Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
