What will you do?
Train new team members as assigned by management and assist with scheduling, ordering, and daily team member assignments and tasks within Housekeeping Operations
Coordinate and communicate with Laundry Processing Operations while on shift, ensuring all storage areas and linen closets are stocked, neat, clean, and organized
Requires valid drivers license with ability to safely operate a company vehicle including a box truck with a lift gate, and load linen carts as scheduled
Process and stock incoming supply orders, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and stock carts and closets with necessary, cleaning supplies and amenities
Perform various housekeeping tasks such as stripping guest rooms, emptying trash, reporting maintenance issues, assisting guests with luggage, cleaning ceilings and walls, sorting and folding linens, and maintaining a clean work area
More about you
Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred
Preferred 2 years of supervisory experience
Valid drivers license and ability to safely operate company vehicle during inclement weather
Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow directions
Guest service oriented with basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Physical requirements
Work in an outdoor environment, including during inclement weather
Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift
Ability to push carts weighing up to 200 pounds
