Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Supervise daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to support clinical decision-making.
Ensure that resident rights are upheld in all aspects of care delivery.
Lead training initiatives for nursing staff on best practices in home health care and acute care environments.
Monitor quality assurance measures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in managing nursing teams.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology relevant to patient care.
Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments and documentation requirements.
Expertise in supervising nursing staff within home health or acute care settings.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
Ability to review documentation critically and provide constructive feedback.

Pay: $83,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
