Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Marketing Strategist to join our marketing team. This hybrid role involves working closely with internal clients to develop and manage marketing asset requests, ranging from $10K to $200K. You will be responsible for creating project briefs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of assets across a variety of media formats.

Job Title: Marketing Strategist

Location: Hybrid - Onsite with clients at various Chicago locations

Duration: 6+ months, ongoing

Start Date: July 1

Schedule: 40 hours per week | 2-3 days onsite (as needed)

Dress Code: Casual

Pay: $35-$40/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for internal clients requesting marketing assets.

Develop comprehensive project briefs including specifications, budgets, timelines, and translation needs.

Collaborate with vendors to price out assets and ensure deliverables meet company standards.

Present project plans to clients, incorporating feedback and securing final approvals.

Manage and track project milestones, ensuring deadlines are met.

Coordinate production of various media including TV, Print, OOH, Digital, Email, Social, Video (short and long form), Presentations, Environmental Design, and Event assets.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in marketing strategy or project management.

Proven ability to manage individual asset requests as well as complex, multi-asset campaigns.

Experience in developing briefs and collaborating with creative and production teams.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Familiarity with vendor management and budget estimation.

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and traveling to client sites across Chicago.

Preferred Experience:

Prior work in a public or educational institution is a plus.

Bilingual or experience working with translated materials is helpful.
