Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Glenview, Illinois. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions, including reconciliation, billing, and invoice processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Acumatica software required!

Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Process invoices efficiently and verify all documentation for compliance.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including data entry and payment tracking.

Generate and review billing statements to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed.

Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial operations.

Collaborate with team members to support ongoing system implementation projects.

Prepare reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

Ensure adherence to all company policies and accounting standards.

Provide general administrative support for accounting-related tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial record management.

Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Familiarity with billing and invoice processing procedures.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Advanced knowledge of Acumatica software.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
