The Application Developer is responsible for gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications and systems in the agency. This role will be responsible for development and redesign of systems platforms utilized by the Lottery. These systems are used across the agency and critical to operations of the Lottery. The Application Developer will be the technical subject expert (SME) and developer for ServiceNow, SharePoint, GoAnywhere, PowerApps and process automation. In addition, they will perform new development to automate agency processes through new power apps and power scripts.
This position plays a critical role in the agency allowing for automation of routine tasks, seamless communications between the agency and IT through the ServiceNow platform, providing a communications hub for the agency with a new Intranet site and more. This position will also be accountable to ensure the systems developed are user friendly, secure, robust, and maintainable for the future.
Responsibilities include:
Architect and design new ServiceNow platform for ITSM (IT Service Management), Asset Management, Change Management and more
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on usage.
Develop Chief Information Officer, Managers, and Individual dashboards in ServiceNow
Design new Intake interfaces
Project Technical lead for Intranet development, design, and implementation
Develop end user documentation
Develop automation for IT tasks to enable the end user.
Network and build professional relationships with technical representatives to drive new technology and solutions using SharePoint and ServiceNow.
Develop PowerApps to automat workflows and streamline processes and approvals
Support end users
Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of information technology experience that includes:
Experience in designing and implementing solutions in ServiceNow
Ability to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on usage and dashboards
Experience in architecting and building SharePoint sites
Ability to develop and facilitate training sessions of new applications and systems
Experience in development of new applications and systems
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, who do not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or other common experiences.
*A Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for eighteen months of experience, OR a related Bachelor's degree substitutes for one year, OR a related Associate's substitutes for six months.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in GoAnywhere, and PowerApps solutions
Excellent program management, written and verbal organizational skills
Able to adapt instruction techniques to meet the learning styles of a diverse staff
Project Management certification or equivalent experience
ServiceNow certifications - Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect or equivalent experience
