Knowledge and Requirements:
Applicants must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally; must hold a valid Class C Texas Driver's License with no outstanding citations or warrants. High School/GED required for the Water and Sewer Departments.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Job Summary:
Provides manual labor following basic routines directed by an immediate supervisor during construction repair and maintenance of City Services and facilities, Employee
must be able to assist in other Public Works Departments as needed. Laborers may work in a specific Department such as the Streets, Parks, Water, Sewer or Cemetery.
Supervision Received:
Work is performed under the direction of immediate supervisor.
Supervision Exercised:
None.
GENERAL DUTIES
Installs and repairs sewer or water lines and related components if required.
Operates backhoe, jackhammer, mower, power saw, tapping machine, weed eaters, mowers and other light equipment and power tools if required.
