Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

Create and reference blueprints throughout a project

Construct various frameworks for structures, including walls, ceilings and floors

Installing and repairing material, ceiling grids, and other acoustic components

Use machinery, such as boom lifts, to perform duties

Cut and shape various materials

Ensure structures, framework and materials are up to code and undamaged

Follow written and oral instruction given from the supervisor

Have the ability to work from heights of 10-40+ ft. with no issues while harnessed in

Display strong math skills for measuring, cutting, and installing materials with little to no errors

Qualifications:

3+ years of acoustic carpentry experience

Must have all basic hand tools, power drills, impacts, power saws, sander, compressor tools, etc

Reliable transportation Work well as a team or independently, as needed

Be reliable and committed to finishing each project until the end with minimal absences

Demonstrate good communication skills with employer and supervisor

Have a positive and results driven attitude to work quickly and efficiently

Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)

Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Must be able to complete background check to get on to the military base
