Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Commerce, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, small-business environment and has a strong background in QuickBooks Desktop.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including matching, coding, and entering invoices accurately.

Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Assist with accounts receivable tasks, such as invoice follow-ups and collections.

Clean up unmatched and unpaid invoices at the start of the assignment to streamline operations.

Generate reports related to accounts payable and maintain organized vendor files.

Provide flexible support across other accounting functions as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial processes and address outstanding items.

Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage financial transactions effectively. Requirements - Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is mandatory.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.

Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a small team environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and invoice processing.

Prior experience with accounting software such as SAP or Oracle is a plus.
