HVAC Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Lead and oversee project teams through all phases-planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty-ensuring successful project delivery.

Provide clear leadership and direction to assigned team members, including conducting performance reviews, supporting professional development, and managing day-to-day activities.

Participate in pre-bid evaluations and facilitate smooth transitions from sales to operations.

Develop comprehensive project plans ahead of execution, ensuring alignment with project goals. Maintain and update project schedules and cost estimates throughout the lifecycle.

Coordinate budgeting, procurement, engineering, accounting, cost control, and construction activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Manage equipment procurement processes.

Track project progress to ensure adherence to execution plans. Use financial tools and monthly forecasts to monitor and control project costs effectively.

Hold a 4-year degree in a construction-related field or possess equivalent experience.

Have 3-5 years of hands-on project management experience or at least 5 years in the construction industry.

Possess advanced knowledge of HVAC systems or other building electronic control systems.

Skilled in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, field supervision, financial reporting, client relations, and risk management. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, mentoring, and empowering others through effective delegation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
