We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Agent to join a non-profit team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys helping others, and values meaningful work. If you are looking for a contract to hire, full time position onsite in San Diego, CA, then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, professional support to information seekers via phone, email, and online channels.

Address inquiries about programs, initiatives, donations, and volunteer opportunities.

Resolve issues efficiently and empathetically while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Document interactions in CRM systems to ensure accurate records and data insights.

Communicate the organization's mission and values effectively in every interaction.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and smooth operations.

Requirements

Prior customer service experience preferred (non-profit or volunteer experience is a bonus).

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with a compassionate approach.

Proficiency in CRM systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Excel, Salesforce).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Passion for non-profit work and commitment to supporting impactful causes.

High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certifications are a plus

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Commitment to long term work is a must
