We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller for our growing client in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations within a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and present timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Analyze project costs, profitability, and resource allocation to guide business objectives.

Implement and maintain job cost tracking systems to monitor construction project performance.

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.

Manage internal and external audits, maintaining adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Identify and execute process improvements to optimize financial workflows.

Evaluate and implement financial systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with company goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.

Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Viewpoint.

Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing practices.

Solid understanding of job costing and project-based financial management.

Advanced skills in Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
