How will you make an impact in this role?
The Senior Analyst - Growth Strategy & Insights is responsible for leading key tactical aspects of Business Line of Credit, Business Checking, and Business Savings strategic acquisition initiative planning, campaign analysis, and investment optimization. This is a high visibility role that will work cross-functionally to prepare and QA critical deliverables to the marketing leadership team, as well as product and finance stakeholders. This role also partners directly with marketing channel owners and analytics teams to surface data driven recommendations to expand targeting, optimize campaigns, drive forward the R&O process, and prepare business cases to support strategic initiatives geared toward scaling efficient acquisition for SME banking and lending products.
Growth Initiatives - Develop data-driven business cases to inform and expand our holistic acquisition strategy, channel mix, and net new cross-sell opportunities. Partner with GCS Marketing & Product teams to guide high LTV acquisition, leveraging real-time signals and down-funnel activation and engagement trends.
Forecasting & Investment Optimization - Support full funnel forecasting and strategic planning - evaluating investment tradeoffs based on cost-benefit analyses and partnering closely with GCS Marketing Finance and GIO to guide accurate marketing investment decisioning
Insights & Analysis - Inform an analytical POV on Business Line of Credit, Business Checking, and Business Savings acquisition by incorporating campaign insights, competitive learnings, and external macro trends into our cohesive marketing channel strategy by partnering closely with Analytics, Product Strategy, and Amex Research, to inform growth opportunities, annual tech planning, targeting, and segmentation
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of experience in some combination of marketing strategy, analytics, finance, product development, or management consulting
Strong technical foundation with ability to conduct campaign analysis, manipulate data, and synthesize data into actionable findings to assess the performance of marketing initiatives
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with proven ability to message effectively across levels and tailor complex messages to executive audiences
Ability to break down complex problems in simple ways and tell a story with data
Track record of developing reports from scratch to provide visibility to current trends and deliver accurate and complete snapshots of the business
Track record of successfully supporting strategic initiatives, including the development of business cases
Software application skills - advanced in excel and powerpoint
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building financial and statistical models for forecasting and budget planning
Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
