The Elmore Health & Safety (EHS), Beryllium Products, Beryllium Foils Administrator is essential to the daily departmental and plant operations. In addition to providing administrative services to the EHS Department, Be Products and Be Foils Leadership, a key aspect of this role is providing data management for all regulatory EHS compliance at the Elmore, Ohio, location. This role provides the Elmore business leaders, regulatory authorities, and a wide variety of stakeholders, insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to drive decision-making and demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
You will have the opportunity to:
Support organization by maintaining and organizing all documents in the document control system.
Utilize SAP, ARIBA and other financial purchasing tools to perform the purchasing and payment function for the EHS, Be Products and Be Foils organization.
Includes a variety of administrative tasks including regulatory correspondence, EHS communication log management, EHS filing system maintenance, training record documentation, maintaining regulatory permits and supporting documentation, document retention, event planning, facilitating correspondence and interfacing with external visitors, vendors, and regulatory contacts.
Supports EHS, Be Products, Be Foil related projects, meetings, new efforts and programs as needed.
Provides support to a wide range of communications initiatives, i.e., plant employee communication boards, meeting notifications, updates, etc.
Coordinates centralized scheduling of conference rooms for safety training and meetings, including preparing rooms with presentation materials.
Act as site point of contact for EHS IT systems including Learning for All, Ideagen, 3E, Humantech, iNet, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: ?
High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in administrative, communications, or analytical roles (or combination of any) or a minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative function.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Ability to quickly learn Materion's organization, operations, and policies required.
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively deal with people at all levels of the organization required.
Must be a strong team-player with a positive attitude focused on continuous improvement and delivering results.
Must possess a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Must be self-motivated and manage time efficiently to ensure timely delivery of multiple priorities.
Must demonstrate aptitude to learn new software applications.
Strong organizational skills required, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Must be a resourceful, proactive self-starter with the ability to think and plan ahead.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
