THE WORK
In this important role, some of your main responsibilities will include to:
Plan, coordinate, and implement multiple process improvement and tooling projects of varying degrees of complexity to support manufacturing operations.
Review and evaluate end-item product engineering models, drawings, and documentation.
Perform precision alignments or measurements of tooling or end-item product to support production and engineering development.
Coordinate timelines and schedules to support operations demand.
Analyze project cost estimates, savings, and return on investment.
Generate 3D models or sketches for conceptual tools and work with Tool Designers to create finalized designs and procure tools.
Support production process and automation implementations for manufacturing assembly and test.

Basic Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and special tooling
Experience with 3D model software and engineering drawings
Microsoft Office experience in Excel, Word, and Power Point
Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience with special tooling or ground support equipment design and implementation
Experience with precision alignments or metrology equipment (laser trackers, laser scanners, etc.)
Experience with PTC Creo preferable
Experience with crane operations, rigging, and lift fixture design
Experience working in a defense, aerospace, or equivalent environment
Self-starter and motivated
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams or projects

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
