Solutions Manager (GEOINT)

HOW A SOLUTIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Works with Government and Contractor personnel to oversee GEOINT-related work performed by private industry, such as design, analysis and testing of GEOINT systems and subsystems on, but not limited to space/ground-based and airborne ISR systems/subsystems.
Provides professional services in the application of advanced geospatial intelligence theories, concepts, principles, and processes to the development of space. ground and airborne ISR systems.
Performs duties involved in research, development, testing and evaluation of GEOINT design techniques.
Researches, analyzes, and determines available options or the feasibility of different advanced approaches to resolve complex program issues; defines concepts and criteria for GEOINT requirements and resolves major controversial problems in the current program.
Systematically applies expertise in electronics engineering to create new or substantially improved, processes, techniques, and/or procedures that address GEOINT requirements and associated certification methods.
Coordinates and facilitates programmatic and technical discussions with stakeholders from ISR platform communities, tasking authorities and service provider organizations to develop and refine policy guidance, interagency agreements, budget recommendations and capability requirements documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in GEOINT, 5 years of which must be in the DoD or a BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience in the GEOINT field
Required Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge and understanding of the entire NSG GEOINT standards baseline, including demonstrated expertise in the development and execution of the entire suite of web services standards cited in the DoD IT Standards Register (DISR). Working knowledge of USAF, DoD, DNI and IC organizational structures, relationships and coordination processes.
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Required Skills and Abilities: Detailed understanding of NSG data standards and implementations, and the relationships between the data, web service, and encoding standards utilized to support data sharing operations across the NSG/ASG community.
Preferred Skills: Ability to draft executive level correspondence, presentations and provide briefings to senior AF and DoD officials. Ability to work within a multi-disciplined, high-performing team.

The likely salary range for this position is $139,984 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
