Task Order (TO) Manager

The Task Order Manager holds primary responsibility for the daily execution and successful delivery of specific project engagements within a larger program framework. This role involves coordinating cross-functional delivery teams, meticulously managing schedules, and ensuring that all project deliverables consistently meet client quality standards. Acting as the key point of contact for client representatives, the Task Order Manager ensures adherence to compliance, maintains comprehensive risk logs, and drives agile delivery cycles aligned to overall program objectives.

Responsibilities:

Manage the entire project lifecycle for assigned engagements, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.

Coordinate seamlessly with client representatives, key stakeholders, and internal cross-functional delivery teams to ensure unified objectives and execution.

Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and backlog grooming meetings to maintain project velocity.

Track deliverables, milestones, and dependencies meticulously using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Proactively identify and resolve project blockers, escalating critical risks and issues to program leadership as needed for timely mitigation.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk logs, decision logs, and change control records, ensuring audit readiness.

Lead project-specific retrospectives and continuous improvement cycles to identify efficiencies and enhance future delivery processes.

Ensure strict adherence to data use, privacy, and access control standards throughout all project activities and data handling.

Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet deadlines and objectives.

Communicate project status, progress, and key performance indicators clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders.

Experience Required:

10+ years of experience managing complex healthcare or data-intensive projects, preferably within a regulated environment.

Experience working directly with large enterprise clients or public sector agencies is preferred.

Strong familiarity and practical experience with Agile methodologies and managing projects in cloud-based analytical environments.

Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (Required).

Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certifications (Preferred).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Policy, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
