Information Technology Director - Global Operations Command Center

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Information Technology Director to lead our Global Operations Command Center (GCC). This critical role oversees the real-time monitoring, incident response, and operational stability of our global IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with a strong background in IT operations, a passion for operational excellence, and a track record of running 24/7 mission-critical environments across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Global Operations Command Center team responsible for 24/7 monitoring of infrastructure, applications, and services.

Establish and maintain operational standards, procedures, and KPIs to drive performance and incident resolution effectiveness.

Serve as the highest escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with executive stakeholders.

Implement automation and tools to improve monitoring, alerting, and incident management capabilities.

Collaborate with global IT, cybersecurity, application, and infrastructure teams to support availability and incident resolution.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement through post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and process enhancements.

Mentor and develop GCC personnel across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent practices and knowledge sharing.

Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and third-party support partners.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (Master's preferred).

10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global operations or command center environments.Demonstrated experience in ITIL, NOC/SOC operations, and large-scale incident management.

Proven ability to lead in high-pressure, high-visibility scenarios with strong decision-making skills.

Expertise with enterprise monitoring and ITSM tools (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Working Conditions:

This role is onsite in Sandy, UT and may require working outside of standard business hours, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 operations. Occasional international travel may be required.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated base salary range for this role is $140k - 175k.
