Digital Marketing Intern

Overview

We are seeking a highly-motivated intern to join our Marketing Department in our Holmdel, NJ office.

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working with SEO, Google Business, social media, email marketing and content creation. You'll work closely with our marketing team to help drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.

Responsibilities

Assist with SEO strategies including keyword research and on-page optimization.

Monitor and report on key marketing metrics and performance analytics.

Assist in managing and updating the company's website and digital assets.

Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.

Curate and manage an internal storefront, ensuring products are accurate and engaging.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to campaigns

In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections.

Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.

Experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.

Ability to follow and maintain brand guidelines across all content and platforms.

Passion for digital media and online trends.

Excellent communication, proofreading skills, grammar and spelling skills.

Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $18.00-$25.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Additional networking and trainings specific to the students' areas of study are also made available to students throughout the Summer Internship program.

Our internship program is designed to help grow our organization organically with talented individuals starting their careers all over the country. On average, we make full-time, permanent offers to students approaching graduation within a year more than 50% of the time. We want great talent to start their careers here stay with CED and its affiliates for their entire career!
