Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to recruit and hire a full time Fixed Asset Analyst to join their Finance and Accounting Department in Dekalb County, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain fixed assets across multiple manufacturing facilities
Maintain accurate records of all fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and upgrades
Determine and maintain tax values of assets for compliance purposes
Conduct periodic audits, physical inventories, and reconciliations of fixed assets
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and GAAP
Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules for audit and management
Manage write-offs and impairments of obsolete or retired equipment
Calculate and record depreciation expenses for fixed assets.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance for asset tracking and validation
Assist with annual tax filings and fixed asset schedules
Identify and implement process improvements for asset tracking and reporting
Monitor Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, and company purchasing process.
Support other general accounting functions as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred.
3+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax depreciation rules
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
