Our client, a leader in the support services industry, is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Intake Coordinator to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant/Intake Coordinator you will be part of a dedicated team supporting individuals in their journey towards independent living. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a passion for advocacy, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Intake Coordinator-Bilingual

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Schedule: M-Fri 9am-5pm

Temp-Perm Opportunity

What's the Job?

Provide excellent customer service and support in a welcoming front office environment.

Engage with individuals to assess their needs for independent living services, both in person and via phone.

Initiate and compile intake forms and packets for new referrals, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared.

Develop a deep understanding of independent living resources and federal and state disability rights laws.

Offer employment readiness services to assist consumers in preparing to enter or re-enter the workforce.

What's Needed?

Fluency in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with diverse individuals.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing intake processes.

Ability to provide individual and systems advocacy for people with disabilities.

Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle incoming calls.

A commitment to promoting independence and empowerment for individuals with disabilities.
