Summary This position is with the Office of Information Technology, Division of Information Security. The purpose of this position is to develop and implement security policies and systems which impact patient care and healthcare delivery software applications for Indian Health Service (IHS) systems. The incumbent reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or designee. Lead in the establishment of appropriate security controls and management, as well as effective security methodologies and documentation processes for Federal and Tribal partners. Provide consultation to all Office of Information Technology (OIT) management team members on ways the Division of Information Security can contribute to and assist with successful execution of OIT responsibilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-14: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following @type of work and/or tasks: Working in a healthcare organization on issues relating to cybersecurity governance and policy. Performing as an information technology security leader. Planning and providing security for a healthcare organization with a focus on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
