The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior System Administrator to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award.
The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Enterprise Operations in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of changes across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
Responsibilities:
Supervises enterprise IT infrastructure operations and service support for a combatant command, ensuring full compliance with regulations, cybersecurity procedures, and cyber readiness standards
Supports USSOUTHCOM DoDIN operations services, Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) services, and/or Enterprise Data Center (EDC) operations services, as needed
Demonstrates advanced experience in supporting geographically dispersed teams while applying in-depth knowledge of DoD Information Assurance policies, including physical security, information security, and cybersecurity best practices
Supervises and manages the planning, testing, development, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of IT systems, with a focus on optimizing the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) to meet mission-critical objectives
Manages the technical execution and performance of IT staff, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training programs and fostering professional growth to enhance team capabilities
Provides systems administration and training services for the Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J) Family of Programs (FOP)
Provides full lifecycle IT services for Cooperative Situational Information Integration (CSII), a Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) product that enables a web-based situational awareness picture
Tracks the progress of IT projects, evaluations, and inspections, collaborating with tasks, key personnel and stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational requirements, deadlines, and objectives
Leverages comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, including operating systems, routers, firewalls, and network infrastructure, to offer expert technical guidance and solutions across a range of high-priority projects
Functions as a technical expert in specialized areas such as data handling systems, network architecture, and infrastructure management, ensuring optimal system performance and resilience
Provides technical leadership and mentorship to other IT professionals, ensuring adherence to DoD and CCMD standards, policies, and procedures, while supporting professional development and knowledge sharing across the team
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizen with active Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
5-8 years of experience in related field
One or more certifications: CompTIA Server +, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
Desired:
Experience in a large, distributedIT enterprise
Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
Experience with DoD networks

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200-$158,100
