Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber-security, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience assessing and developing cyber-security solutions and programs across security domains.

6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree with emphasis on Information Security, Information Technology, or Operations Management.

CISSP or equivalent certification.

Agile certification.

5 years of experience working with Information Security, infrastructure, software, or platforms, with 2 years of cloud services experience.

2 years of experience managing projects and customer relationships while working cross-functionally in a large organization.

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, corporate network environments and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.

As a Security Consultant, you could work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. You will also articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors and successfully lead complex engagements alongside cross functional teams.

As a Mandiant Strategic Security Consultant, you will lead and support projects on behalf of clients that assess, test, or build their security programs. Project teams may range from 2 to 5 colleagues. Clients will range from start-up companies looking to supplement their security team to Fortune 100 companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program. You will provide guidance and advice to our client on best practices and managing the risks for their security program.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Oversee complex, multi-disciplinary cyber-security projects from requirements gathering to outcomes, working with internal and client stakeholders to define and measure business outcomes, develop release plans, identify dependencies, and direct predictable and repeatable Security Program improvements.

Assess, identify, and implement cyber-security risk reduction return on investment initiatives.

Mange agile ceremonies, including Release Planning, Backlog Development, and Standups.

Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.

Coach and develop delivery team, composed of internal and client team members, to incrementally improve throughput and quality.
