Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and reporting for our organization in Hood River, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting principles and managerial responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and collaborating with auditors.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review accurate financial statements and profitability reports.
Manage all core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closings.
Conduct inventory roll forwards and margin analysis to support operational and financial decisions.
Oversee fixed asset management and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for annual financial and 401K audits.
Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain efficiency.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.
Monitor billing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or controller-level accounting role.
Proven ability to prepare financial statements and profitability reports with precision.
Strong expertise in general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
Familiarity with fixed asset management and margin analysis.
Experience working with auditors on financial and 401K audits.
Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
