PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

ABOUT YOU:
Are you a strategic product marketer passionate about shaping how products connect with customers? We're seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution for Jostens' educational products. In this role, you will partner across the business to develop marketing plans, drive adoption, and build brand loyalty in the education space. You will also serve as a key resource for the sales team, helping translate product value to the classroom environment and student customers. YOU WILL:
Lead Product Marketing Strategy. Develop and execute short- and long-term marketing plans aligned with business goals and corporate strategy. Size market potential and drive integrated marketing strategies across educational products.
Position Products for Success. Define positioning and messaging, build brand loyalty, and drive demand and adoption for assigned products. Partner with Product Management to ensure alignment with product development.
Support Sales Enablement. Provide guidance, resources, and leadership to the sales force to support onboarding, customer education, and field execution. Develop sales training materials, customer-facing content, and tools.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Serve as a key leader on cross-functional teams with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, and Creative, driving alignment and seamless handoffs across teams.
Develop Educational Content. Create customer-focused copy, videos, tutorials, webinars, and training resources that resonate with the educational market and support product adoption.
Manage Look Book Strategy. Oversee the Look Book judging and production process to showcase product differentiators and inspire customers. Align Look Book branding and messaging across internal partners.
Champion the Customer. Lead the development of educator ambassador or mentoring programs and provide direct leadership to ensure customer and sales feedback is addressed in a timely and impactful manner
Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 25%
YOU HAVE:
Education. BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the yearbook education field. MBA preferred.
Experience. 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, strategy development, management, and execution-or equivalent experience in the yearbook education field. Direct experience in yearbook production, classroom instruction, or SaaS-based educational tools.
Educational Market Knowledge. Experience working in the field of education, with preference for yearbook classroom experience. Additional experience in yearbook production, classroom instruction, or SaaS-based educational tools.
Product Marketing Expertise. Background in product marketing strategy, project-based learning environments, and marketing SaaS applications.
Integrated Marketing. Understanding of integrated online and offline marketing strategies for educational marketplaces.
Technical Proficiency. Working proficiency with MS Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
Collaboration & Communication. Strong interpersonal, team-oriented, written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization.

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
