GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This rate may be modified in the future. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the lawWhat you'll do on a typical day: Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facilityUse hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting productsVerify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner Adhere to the 7S programMaintain a clean environment at all times Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: To be at least 18 years of ageThe ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculatorAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documentsIt'd be great if you also have: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed Experience using a handheld scanner Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives This job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of timeBend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pullHandle or manage tools or equipmentTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
