The Supply Chain Director defines and leads the strategic vision for Norsk Titanium's global supply chain, aligning with corporate objectives and long-term growth initiatives. Leads the development and execution of integrated supply chain strategies, including procurement, logistics, production planning, and supplier relationship management to ensure scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
In a typical day, your expertise:
Leads the Supply Chain management team and process to execute achieve revenue goals and timelines
Develops and governs production planning frameworks and execution, ensuring internal and external scheduling is optimized for business performance, customer satisfaction, and cost-efficiency
Anticipates and mitigates supply chain risks through predictive analytics, scenario planning, and proactive stakeholder engagement across engineering, quality, and operations
Oversees supplier development and performance management programs, establishing strategic partnerships and ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and compliance standards
Leads and manages warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory management
Drives compliance to all applicable Quality Management System (QMS) standards, regulatory requirements, and customer certifications across all supply chain functions
Leads cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, finance, and program teams to ensure supply chain alignment with business development and execution priorities
Champions supply chain innovation and technology adoption, including digital tools, ERP systems enhancements, and automation to enhance visibility and performance
Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain effectiveness, cost optimization, on-time delivery, and inventory management, reporting regularly to executive leadership
Leads and mentors Supply Chain team, setting clear development goals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and implementing robust succession planning
Serves as the primary supply chain representative in certification audits and strategic customer or supplier engagements
Develops and manages the supply chain budget, including business case development for strategic investments in tools, systems, or capabilities
Implements cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives, collaborating with engineering and operations to drive long-term profitability and competitive advantage
Drives a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies where applicable
Provides effective leadership and guidance to the Supply Chain function, leading initiatives to address the team's performance; activity planning; recruitment, retention and succession planning; employee engagement and satisfaction; etc.
Monitors department activities for productivity and expense controls; proposes and manages Supply Chain budget, creating business cases as necessary for the procurement of additional tools and resources
Proactively leads continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc. in areas of responsibility
Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines
Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business

We're thrilled to find candidates with:
15+ years in Purchasing, Sourcing, Operations or other Supply Chain experience with ERP/MRP systems
Bachelor's Degree in relevant area required; MBA or MS of Supply Chain preferred
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, staff, control and direct projects using tools and techniques associated with risk, and schedule management
10+ years' demonstrated leadership experience building and guiding effective teams
Ability to work collaboratively with others to direct and support goal-oriented activities in a matrix organization
Proficiency in managing, tracking, and reporting technical and cost performance metrics
Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Proficiency with data analytics; PowerBI, preferred
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience working in AS/ISO9100, ITAR environments preferred
Fluent mastery of English language

U.S. person or ITAR export license required

Physical Requirements:
The ability to sit in front of a computer for 8 or more hours daily
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, to operate a computer and telephone keypad
The ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs
To ability to travel via automobile and air for the purposes of attending required business meetings and professional conferences up to 20% of time
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
