Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: RESTful Web Services; Utilizing Java 8 or Core Java; Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Spring Frameworks including Spring Boot; CICD Tooling including Git/GitHub and Jenkins; Agile Methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban; Automated testing tools including Junit; Messaging Services including RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or Kafka; Utilizing Unix OS including Shell Scripts; and Databases including Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $150,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
