Job Description
General Purpose:
Oversee all dry warehouse personnel and account for all finished goods produced and received.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and ensure monthly inventories of finish goods, packaging and ingredients are accurate
Work with production planning to ensure all packaging and ingredients are available for production
Ensure that procedures are followed so that finished products are loaded accurately
Schedule, assign and monitor work, and provide clear direction to warehouse employees to meet the needs of the business
Coordinate the work efforts of employees to ensure that outgoing semi-trailers or trucks are loaded accurately and on time to meet customer order requirements
Ensure that procedures are followed so that finished products are loaded accurately
Provide for the supervision of assigned employees in scheduling and daily activities, ensuring effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action, and performance management
Review and edit employee electronic time records as needed
Actively communicate with employees through shift meetings and informal methods
Monitor incoming loads and invoices to identify damaged or erroneously delivered orders. Work with vendors, suppliers, and other employees to resolve discrepancies and solve problems
Ensure all product is shipped to outside warehouse in timely manner and inventories controlled
Ensure outside warehouse is reconciled for finished goods, ingredients and packaging at the end of each month
Manage inventory for all packaging/ingredients and communicate to corporate purchasing all needs
Order materials to ensure no out of stock with lowest carrying inventory
Coordinate and schedule warehouse personnel providing coverage as needed
Ensure condition of warehouse meets all regulatory standards
Advanced SAP knowledge including warehouse management, inventory management, and EDI
Ensure FIFO is being maintained for 3PL and plant shipments.
Manage packaging materials, FG, and ingredients at 3PL.
Perform 3PL audit on a monthly basis.
Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures, report any nonconformity
Attend required training, including but not limited to, GMP's, HAACP, SQF, Safety, etc.
Implement process improvements to save money, time, movement, and waste.
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
High School Degree or GED
3-5 years of experience in warehousing/logistics
1-3 years of supervisory experience
SAP experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer skills (MS Office with Excel experience strongly preferred)
SAP
Self-disciplined
Good communication skills
Must be able to multi-task
Good telephone etiquette
Must be able to read, write and speak English
