Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality. This role involves working closely with our skilled technicians to produce axles and pins using CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.

Design and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements.

Conduct research and tests on product designs and manufacturing processes.

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for simulation and process design.

Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures.

Train staff on new processes, providing guidance and feedback.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.

Prepare reports and present results to management and other stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the machining industry (specifically, CNC machines or stamping machines).

Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus.

Work Environment

This position requires spending 50% of the time working in the manufacturing area to ensure parts are qualified and up to specification, and the remaining 50% of the time within an office setting. The work environment is dynamic and involves collaboration with a skilled team of technicians. The facility boasts modern equipment and technologies, fostering an efficient and innovative atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $47.00/hr.
