Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead financial management for a high-profile, multi-site corporate food service contract with an estimated $80M in revenue. This role serves as the financial leader for the Americas (NorAm & LaTam) and provides extended support to APAC and EMEA regions. The Finance Director will support operational excellence through effective financial planning, real-time performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
This position acts as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Operations (VPO), offering strategic insights, managing financial processes, and delivering impactful communication at all organizational levels-internally and externally.
This is a remote role with the preferred candidate residing on the East Coast or Midwest.
What You'll Do
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Serve as the primary financial liaison with the client, delivering regular financial reporting and strategic updates.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the Americas, while providing financial oversight and coordination across APAC and EMEA.
Partner with operational leaders to ensure alignment between financial goals and business objectives, including service delivery in catering and daily dining services.
Deliver strategic insights through robust variance analysis across revenue, labor, product cost, and other operational KPIs.
Drive cost-reduction strategies and continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
Digital Financial Reporting:
Build and maintain a digital dashboard using advanced reporting platforms to ensure real-time visibility into key financial performance metrics.
Leverage digital tools for automated reporting, analysis, and stakeholder transparency across regions.
Operational Finance Management:
Oversee all aspects of financial reporting: daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Ensure accurate and timely financial results, including budget tracking, period-end closing, and forecasting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
Train unit and area managers in financial literacy, contract compliance, and cost control within a food service @context.
Manage electronic tools for financial tracking (e.g., e-Vision, forecasting platforms) and P2P systems to support procurement and budgeting workflows.
Contract & Compliance Oversight:
Ensure contract adherence and commercial compliance with client agreements.
Support pricing strategies, service fee modeling, and client negotiations specific to food and hospitality services.
Perform financial reviews and audits to verify accuracy of transactions, improve controls, and identify improvement opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team with a strong focus on accountability and excellence.
Promote cross-functional collaboration and financial best practices across operational and regional teams.

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree and/ or8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in corporate hospitality, food services , or related sectors.
Strong expertise in budgeting, financial modeling, analysis, and dashboard reporting.
Proficient with Google financial tools and digital reporting platforms.
Demonstrated experience with cost control, pricing strategies, and contract compliance.
Executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage priorities and projects in a dynamic, multi-regional environment.
