Job Summary The Administrative Assistant, what we refer to as our "Arborist Assistant", provide sales and customer service support to our team of Sales Arborists. The position works alongside tree and lawn care experts to provide seamless, high-level service, as they sell quality customized services to both our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is able to successfully maintain all Plant Health Care (PHC)/Lawn Care (LC) routes to minimize curb-to-travel time and maximize Revenue Per Hour (RPH), ultimately resulting in timely delivery of service and high customer satisfaction. Job Description What a day is like: Our Arborist Assistant's focus is to provide sales support through making outbound sales calls, performing lead generation, creating proposals, scheduling appointments, maintaining multiple sales calendars. Also printing daily routes, call ahead, responding to clients routing questions, posting routes, requesting additional stops for specialist if needed and handling fall offs, ultimately resulting in timely delivery of service and high customer satisfaction. They provide world-class customer service by answering incoming customer calls, Printing daily routes and responding to routing questions. Creating and maintaining positive rapport, the position further supports the branch location by administering the customer database and files, completing paperwork accurately and efficiently, and providing general administrative and office support to Sales Arborists. Our Arborist Assistants will also participate in call monitoring and coaching sessions for training and quality support purposes. What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with: A desire to learn and grow within the business and Arboricultural industry Associates degree or higher preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone manner and customer service skills Previous success with outbound calling Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Database systems desired (we will train you on our programs) Experience with AR, AP, Payroll, HR, Benefits, multiline phone systems 2+ years of experience in sales/marketing a plus An eye for excellence. Accuracy and attention to detail will be foundational to success.
