Position: Accounts Payable Representative

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Representative is a lucrative position within the finance department, responsible for supporting the day-to-day high volume accounts payable operations. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintains financial records, and assists with reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, review, and log vendor invoices; verify accuracy and ensure alignment with purchase orders and contractual terms.

Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger to ensure accurate and current financial data.

Assist in preparing and executing payment runs, ensuring timely disbursement of funds.

Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Organize and maintain proper documentation for all accounts payable transactions.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.

Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice-related issues and coordinate with internal teams for payment approvals.

Support the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts payable.

Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team, including assistance with month-end close activities.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in HIGH VOLUME accounts payable finance-related position with a focus on supply chain finance and PO and vendor management experience.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage a high volume of transactions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with accounting or ERP software is preferred (AS400, SAP, Oracle, etc).

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
