Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to support our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, documenting vital information, providing post-operative wound care instructions, drawing blood, and assisting with patient scheduling and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Room patients and document all vital information accurately.

Scribe information for the dermatologist during patient consultations.

Provide comprehensive post-operative wound care instructions to patients.

Draw blood for laboratory tests and procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and stock exam rooms effectively.

Schedule patient appointments efficiently.

Assist dermatologists with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing, while being present in the room.

Essential Skills

Certified Medical Assistant certification required.

1-3 years of experience as a CMA or MA.

Proficiency in medical terminology and patient intake.

Strong skills in appointment scheduling and customer service.

Ability to check vitals and draw blood accurately.

Experience in medical scribing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma required.

Experience in health care and triage.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
