Job Description

Candidates will be operating a grinder in the fabrication department to put a finish on the materials before they go to production and then painting.

Responsibilities

Operate a grinder to put a finish on materials.

Work in the fabrication department to prepare materials for production and painting.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Use micrometers to ensure precision in work.

Essential Skills

1+ years of grinder operating experience.

Ability to read a tape measure to an 1/8th of an inch.

Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blueprints.

Fabrication experience.

Knowledge of micrometers.

Work Environment

The facility is clean and organized but not temperature controlled, so it can get hot during the summer. You will report directly to the Welding Lead and indirectly to the Fabrication Manager, working closely with other employees in the fabrication department, including welders, brake press/punch press operators, turret operators, and laser operators.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
