We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Assistant to join our team in a dynamic medical office environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while verifying patient insurance coverage. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting the overall patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.

Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Support medical office management tasks, including inventory management and supply ordering.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication between staff and patients.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the office's daily operations.

Skills

Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

Familiarity with medical office management practices and procedures.

Knowledge of medical coding principles is preferred; experience with eClinical Works is preferred but can do on-the job training.

Ability to file documents accurately and maintain organized records.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.

Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to the role.
