Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has multiple openings for Air Dominance Manufacturing Managers (Level L) in St. Louis, MO . This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate high performing teams of employees on the production line.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years' experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

5+ years' experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

1+ years' experience working with or supporting military aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN

Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations

Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees.

Ability to work any shift

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: USD $124,950 - $169,050

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
