Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for proposal writing, supporting marketing initiatives, strengthening company brand standards, and digital engagement initiatives across Coast's business lines and internal communications.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Create persuasive RFx and sales proposal documents to support Coast's business growth. Responsibilities include:o Researching, writing, and organizing information in a professional, persuasive, and credible mannero Editing and revising proposals according to feedbacko Maintaining consistency by following company policies and brand guidelineso Collaborating with the design team to develop supporting graphics and visualso Identifying and contributing to new proposal opportunities- Develop multimedia content aligned with Coast's brand for internal and client-facing audiences- Write and contribute to whitepapers, sell sheets, and other long-form marketing content- Write and contribute to internal and external email campaigns and newsletters- Develop internal and external video content consistent with Coast's messaging and brand- Develop and execute outbound email campaigns to clients and prospects- Create and submit press releases and public relations efforts- Contribute to social media messaging, content creation, scheduling, and tracking- Support and update company website content- Review and research the competitive landscape to inform strategy and generate new ideas- Coordinate client satisfaction surveys- Other marketing assignments as required- Share or divide the aforementioned marketing responsibilities with peers, under the direction of the Director of Marketing
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in English literature, marketing/advertising, business administration, or related field required. Equivalent work experience in similar position may be substituted for educational requirement.
Experience
Minimum two (2) years of marketing experience, three (3) years preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Principles and practices of marketing and business writing.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign- Establish a good working relationship with team members and internal contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to comply with rules, regulations, laws and methods as related to debt collection. - Work independently in the absence of immediate supervision. - Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems. - May be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.- Travel may be involved and required.
Clearance
As a federal contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information.
