Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will support essential accounting tasks, including accounts payable, billing, and transactional processes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful organization in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy in billing activities.

Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements.

Provide support for front desk operations when needed.

Utilize Peachtree/Sage accounting software to manage financial data effectively.

Assist with updating and following established procedural guidelines.

Deliver transactional accounting support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate financial records. Requirements - Proven experience in transactional accounting, including accounts payable and billing.

Familiarity with Peachtree/Sage software or similar accounting tools.

Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliation and bank statement processes.

Ability to adapt and provide support in various operational areas.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
