Stark Tech is actively looking for a Construction Project Administrator in Brick Township, NJ! This position is responsible for supporting the project team with business development, design/engineering, estimating, bid document control, and project close-out to ensure projects move smoothly through project milestones.

Are you the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate will have spent time in the commercial construction field with 2-3 years of experience minimum. This candidate should know AIA billing and shall have a complete understanding of progression billing.

How will you be successful in this role?

Ultimately, a successful Construction Project Administrator must be able to work with Stark Tech project managers, in office personnel and the sales team. This candidate should have a positive attitude and be able to work with multiple people on multiple jobs .

This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Your success will come from the following responsibilities:

Draft purchase orders and change orders, and process insurance certificates in conjunction with the Contract Administration team.

Enter opportunity data into Salesforce, Intacct and/or other enterprise system as needed for project booking new projects and change orders with support from Project Administrator II.

Review and process all paperwork associated with project contracts, including pre- and post-contract requirements, obtaining certificates of insurance, miscellaneous subcontractor requirements, prevailing wage requirements, lien waiver, etc.

Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and customers.

What we would like to see:

High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.

2+ years progressive experience in a role supporting construction related projects preferred. Construction project financial experience a plus.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

Working knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures preferred.

Basic knowledge in contract terminology and invoicing preferred.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products required.
