We re currently hiring a Sales Estimator for a growing manufacturing company in Minneapolis. This role involves preparing accurate quotes for incoming customer orders no cold calling required. Location: Minneapolis, MN Wage: $23 $25/hr. Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm (optional overtime available after training) Benefits of the sales estimator manufacturing: Company-sponsored annual events and outings Opportunities to give back through volunteer programs Hands-on training provided on the job Complimentary on-site parking Convenient location near public transportation (bus and metro lines) Paid holidays to enjoy time off with family and friends Generous paid time off (PTO) policy Comprehensive health insurance coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan with company support Duties of the sales estimator manufacturing: Compute cost and time factors to prepare accurate estimates for customer orders and RFQs Identify potential vendors or subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness Review data to determine material and labor requirements Consult with customers, vendors, and stakeholders to discuss estimates and resolve issues Maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure sales volumes and margins Review purchase orders, blueprints, and quality requirements, and re-price existing jobs Requirements of the sales estimator manufacturing: 2-4 years of experience in estimating material cost and labor Experience in metal stamping/fabrication Strong math skills, including decimals, fractions, and metric conversions Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and procedure manuals Solid customer service or sales background in a manufacturing setting Additional information: Apply today!
