Vacancy: Administrator, Child Support Enforcement Agency

Supervisor - Director

Pay Range - 32

Duties: Supervises all functions within the child support unit. Assigns and reviews work, completes and signs evaluations. Recommends or initiates disciplinary actions. Informs and trains personnel on CSEA regulations and agency procedures for CSEA investigative personnel under supervision of case manager/investigative supervisor. Provides guidance and suggest actions when investigators have problems. Ensures court cases have necessary documentation and correct procedures have been followed. Appears in court when necessary. Makes sure work is completed in a timely manner. Maintains small caseloads and continues to keep updated on the workflow to maintain information for training purposes. Informs staff concerning new information and updates procedures and policies. Works with accounting department and state to become knowledgeable of financial process and workflow.

In conjunction with agency and departmental leadership the incumbent will handle and closely monitor staff in most difficult CSEA cases. Works with the child support attorney and the courts to make sure cases are filed correctly and timely. Works with the state child support office in all aspects pertaining to child support. Meet with the state performance workers as needed to keep agency running smoothly. Prepares all documentation and meets with state employees regarding FTI and makes sure agency is following IRS standards. Responds to client questions and deals with issues that need addressed. Conducts self-assessment reviews on CSEA cases as mandated by the state and completes all documentation. Keeps track of case numbers in each caseload and updates when necessary to keep numbers of cases approximately even among workers.

In conjunction with agency and departmental leadership, the incumbent will prepare necessary reports and records concerning child support. Attends and participates in meetings, conferences, workshops, and training. Conducts administrative hearings and makes decisions. Completes all necessary paperwork. Other duties as assigned.
