Position Summary:

We are seeking a hard-working, motivated, and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership experience to oversee our domestic entities' monthly close, reconciliation, and general ledger activities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and has a continuous improvement mindset. As Globus continues to expand, we offer a dynamic environment that encourages career growth and professional development.

Essential Duties:

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of three Senior Accountants.

Prepare and review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.

Ensure timely and accurate monthly close processes.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

Assess, optimize, and document financial processes.

Collaborate across departments (Accounting, IT, Operations) to identify and implement process improvements.

Support system and technology implementations.

Serve as the key contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses for senior management.

Drive automation and efficiency with a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

CPA preferred.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core financial concepts.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Advanced Excel proficiency.

Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across functional areas.

Experience with OneStream is a plus.

Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60 - 65.
