Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman Electrician to lead commercial electrical construction projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, from ordering materials to managing manpower and scheduling inspections. The foreman will also perform hands-on electrical work, ensuring that installations and repairs meet NEC standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the foreman will supervise crews and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. A commitment to safety and quality is paramount, with regular safety inspections and adherence to electrical codes and construction practices.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.

Experience with conduit bending and wiring.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Ability to pull wire and install electrical components.

Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.

Experience in commercial construction.

Ability to plan new or modified installations.

Skill in using testing instruments like an ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.

Work Environment

Work in commercial construction sites across the Chicagoland area, requiring full PPE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
